Since you swapped out the PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX4K sensor with another and still got an error with just that one wheel you most likely just have a bad valve core and it's not allowing air to pass through to the sensor for it to properly read the pressure. If one of the sensors in your TST TPMS # TST-507-INT-6-C is randomly turning off/on and only reading 1 or 00 for the tire pressure that leads me to believe the battery is dying and not allowing the sensor to properly operate. I suppose it is possible for the batteries to be dead in your new sensors but this is unlikely. However, I took a look in the manual for the TST TPMS for RVs part # TST-507-RV-4-C and on page 5 it states the following:

The sensors of the Tire Linc TPMS part # LC37VR are battery operated but the signal repeater/booster does require power to operate and give the range needed for your phone. If the battery is dead or sensor communication is interrupted temporarily, lines or dashes "---" are displayed for that sensor on the monitor. I have a solution for you. I went ahead and contacted my tech at Truck System Technologies, and he said that the RV does not have to be in motion before the Internal Tire Sensor for TST TPMS Systems # TST-507-INT-S1 accurately reports the data.

The brightness on the TST color displays, like what comes with the TST TPMS for RVs # TST-507-FT-6-C, have an auto-adjust setting for the monitor so there isn't a way to manually adjust this.
Since you're having issues with it not being bright enough you may need to change the location of the monitor. Irregardless of the ambient temperatures, we always recommend you fill the tires to the max psi listed on the sidewall while cold. This max psi rating will account for the psi increase as they warm. Unfortunately, there is not a standard psi/temperature in which a tire becomes unsafe to drive on as most of them have different ratings specified by the manufacturer. I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox who said that the they haven't had any calls come in yet about the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR having issues with the remote connecting to the main unit but that the original Patriot did have a connection issue that was not unheard of. Unfortunately there isn't a signal booster available.
